A security Man his his 50s called Mr. Akuamoah, affectionately called Kotoosi has reportedly drown at Twifu Praso in the Twifu Atti-Mokwa District of the Central Region.
This was after a Canoe they were using to cross river Pra capsized.
The sad incident happened on Tuesday, 12th September, 2023.
Reporting the incident to Odiasempa Kofi Boadi on ‘Atumpan‘ Program, Sir Nature(a reporter) said Kotoosi, together with others boarded the canoe in order to cross the river Pra to their various destinations since the river had submerged.
According to him, the canoe unfortunately capsized after it had struck an object on the river.
The reporter added that, the other passengers managed to escape but Kotoosi got drown.
Sir Nature said rutuals were performed by the Chief and Elders on that fateful day but the victim wasn’t discovered.
Since the following day after the incident(Wednesday) was a taboo to go on the River Pra, the reporter, disclosed that another rituals will be performed on Thursday (today) on the ritual.
