A suspected thief has been severely brutalized by unknown persons and has been dumped near the Nkawkaw-Kumasi bypass road in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Even though officers of the police service have attended to the victim and sent him to the Nkawkaw Roman Catholic Hospital for emergency treatment, they declined to speak to our community watch reporter, Nana Kwame Andoh.
The victim has, however, lost many levels of blood, and that can be confirmed by the several stains found around him where he lay. All five fingers of his left hand have also been cut off, including the machete wounds under his feet.
He, however, told a police CID that his name is Samuel Oduro, the son of Madam Awo Yaa, a native of New Abirim, and a palm oil dealer.
