Deceased children allegedly reject GHC 23K over missing fathers’ corpse

The Children of the Late George Yeboah have rejected an amount of GHC 23,000 over the missing corpse of their father.

The Children are demanding the corpse of their Father from the hospital.

The money was allegedly offered by the Authorities of Juaboso Government hospital as a compensation package for the Children of the deceased.

Reporting the incident on Solar FM’s Social morning show, dubbed “Atumpan’, a local reporter, Oberempong Nana told the host, Odiasempa Kofi Boadi that, the Late Mr George Yeaboah was a native of Berekum in the Bono region but stay at sefwi kwasiadeakrom in the Juaboso District of the Western North region.

According to him, the corpse of the of the 75-year-old man was reportedly deposited at the sefwi Juaboso mortuary for preservation.

He added that the corpses of the Late Mr. Yeboah was shockingly not found in the hospital morgue after the family of deceased visited the hospital.

The final funeral rite of the deceased,Mr George Yeboah,was originally scheduled for 27th October,2023.

Whiles the Children of the deceased refused to accept the compensation, the family members allegedly accepted an amount of GHC140,000 offered them by the hospital authorities.

Meanwhile, in an interview with BoadiNews.com, the daughter of the deceased, Liticia Yeboah insisted that the corpse of their Late father must be provided.

Authorities of the Hospital declined to comment on the incident.
