C/R: Lifeless body of a man found behind a drinking spot

A man in his early 40s is said to have been killed and dumped behind the Casanova drinking establishment, which is close to Melcom in the Cape Coast Metropolis in the Central Region.

A reporter, Nana Ansah, told Odiasempa Kofi Boadi on Solar FM’s Morning Show dubbed ATUMPAN that some residents speculate that since the deceased, who was dressed in orange Lacoste and jeans, is unknown in the community, he may have been slain somewhere else and discarded nearby.

According to him, after notifying the police, the body was transported to the mortuary of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital so that it could be identified and preserved.

In the meantime, the public is being asked to assist in the identification of the deceased and is also being asked to visit the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary if they have a missing family member.
