A devastating motor accident has claimed the lives of two people at Assin Kyekyewere in the Assin South District of the Central region.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
According to the source, Akwasi Boakye(a native of Assin Kyekyewere), together with his friend, were returning from a funeral Wake Keeping at Assin Asamankese in the same District on a Motorbike but unfortunately got involved in a devastating accident, leading to their death.
Eyewitnesses who spoke to BoadiNews.com, said the lifeless body of Akwasi Boakye and his friend, were discovered in the middle of the road after they were being prompted by a Metro Mass driver.
The bodies of the deceased were retrieved after the police were called to the scene.
The tragic accident has sent shockwaves through the local community, with authorities expressing deep sorrow over the loss of life.
Meanwhile, the bodies have been kept in the Abura Dunkwa Hospital morgue for preservation.
